Late Post Two: Spring Mix and Mingle

Guys, I was so scared about the Spring Mix and Mingle. I invited like 120 people and 60 RSVPed. That is cool, right? But then it rained, and only 12 people showed! I was so disappointed, but it turned out to work out well because the women that did show up ended up being very serious about volunteering. I am looking forward to seeing which  new volunteers decide to become mentors.

 

Late Post: The Atlanta Press Club Mixer

Hello all, I know that it has been a minute. I thought I would hit you with a late post. Last month I went to The Atlanta Press Club Mixer at No Mas Cantina. I got to meet other members of the Atlanta press, but the coolest part was that I got to chitchat with Elizabeth Montgomery who now works for The Atlanta Journal/Constitution. I didn't get to meet a lot of people I could hardcore network with, but the nachos were good and it was nice catching up with Elizabeth.
