Summer Scents: Good Chemistry

I can be a little persnickety when it comes to fragrances, especially in the summer. For me, this is a time for softer, lighter scents, and often the ones that are recommended to me are way too heavy for the heat. Well, Good Chemistry has nailed it with this collection of beautiful summer scents that coasts on amazing blends of fruit and vanilla. Here are a few of my favorites:

When you think Sugar Berry, think raspberry with a touch of vanilla. Think beach vibes. Think vaykay. It's one of those fragrances that you wear and then end up sniffing yourself throughout the day. Yes, she's that yummy!

Be careful with Cheerful Charmer, she's sexy! With hints of coconut milk, apple blossom, and vanilla, she's giving summer love. She's giving little black dress. She's giving good trouble all season long!

Pink Palm is cute. She's clean. She's the fragrance that you reach for when you want to give them just a little something to talk about. A mix of dragon fruit, magnolia, and sugared vanilla, Pink Palm needs to be a staple in your purse for the summer.

Not only does Good Chemisty have great fragrances, it's also a great company all around. Their products are dye-free, paraffin-free, paraben-free, and GMO-free. They are also PETA Certified Cruelty-Free and Vegan. Their fragrances range from $28.99-$12.99, so they are also affordable. I think that my absolute favorite is Pink Palm. Let me know which one you fall in love with.

Surya Brazil's Exotic Animal Collection

We are a month and some change away from fall. As you begin to make adjustments to your wardrobe to welcome the season, don't forget to make the same changes to your nail colors. Surya Brazil nail polishes are vegan and never tested on animals, and, just in time for fall, they are releasing their Exotic Animal Collection.

The 19 colors in the Exotic Animal Collection are inspired by some of our favorite friends of the wild, such as the Anteater, Amazon River Dolphin, Eclectus Parrot, and the Pampas Cat. The collection includes nudes, reds, greens, and other fun colors that are perfect for fall.

Yay for Dr. Sharp's Fresh Mint Mouth Wash!

I know that having sensitive skin is common, but is there such thing as having a sensitive mouth? I ask this because a year or so ago I decided to fully commit to using mouthwash (yes, I know it is gross that I already hadn't) and the mouthwash was so strong that is actually burnt my mouth! After that, I decided that brushing was just going to have to surface, and then I came across the Dr. Sharp Dentistry Fluoride- Free Mouthwash.
This mouthwash is all-natural and tastes so good! And it doesn't burn like other mouthwashes. This product is also vegan and paraben, alcohol, and gluten-free. There is also no color added and works just as well as a traditional mouthwash.
But Dr. Sharp's mouthwash isn't the only tasty, all-natural product he has to offer! Visit his website here.

Review: Lava Love Vegan Volcano Soap Made with Volcanic Ash

Everyone is talking about detoxing though what you put in your body, but no one is really addressing the toxins that we expose to our bodies through what we put on it. Many of the body products that we are using on our exterior can be just as harmful as the things we are eating.
That is why I was excited when I received this Lava Love Vegan Volcano Soap Made with Volcanic Ash.
The soap is made in Oregon from Shea Butter soap and the lava of volcanos that are native to the area. The lava contains bentonite, zeolite and pumice, which draws toxins from the skin and exfoliates it. The soap's ingredients also help to tone the skin, so, between you and me, I have make sure to lather a little extra on my arms:)
On first use, the soap seems muddy, but it suds amazingly and the tiny pumice beads inside of it feel great on the skin and leave it feeling smooth. It has an earthy scent, and after using it for two weeks, I have noticed that my skin feels significantly softer.
Not sure that you why to shower with volcanic ash? I would definitely suggest you at least try it to cleanse your skin and as a healthy alternative to the soap that you currently use.
