The Giver Official Trailer (2014) Meryl Streep, Sci Fi HD

My 8th grade teacher read us this book and it became one of my favorites.

I must see it, even though I can tell from the trailer that they have fiddled

with it. That is the one dilemma with putting books on screen. Maybe, I am

mistaken, but in the book, I thought that everything was in black and white

and that the boy did not see color until he began training to be the giver. Yeah,

I definitely have to see this movie.

Bestie Day

Good shrimp and rice but these beans were SO hot that I couldn't finish them.

Amber looking amazing.

Shoes, shoes, and more shoes at Garb Shoetique.

So on Saturday, my friend Amber scooped me for a bestie day. We went to this place called Village for lunch and drinks, then to Garb Shoetique to look at beautiful shoes that we could never walk in, lol.

FeFe Hair

Me on Friday
My friend FeFe

So Friday was a really good hair day. I don't want to be obnoxious about it, but I get really excited when my hair acts right. I event texted my friend FeFe to let her know that I was coming up on my hair game and coming for her spot. My hair is almost as long as hers now. High five for hair growth! Admittedly, I am way too excited about this.

Sisterly Love

So for the past week, I have been floating on the high of having finally gotten to meet my sisters and extended family. I got to go to Dallas, TX last week to meet them all and let me tell you, it couldn't have gone smoother and I couldn't be happier. You hear about the whole side sibling thing and there is always drama involved. But this was awesome. Long story short, after I was born, my parents did not stay together. My dad then had five kids after me, one of them a son he had during his current marriage. He was unable to come to Texas, but I did get to meet my sisters and my little niece. They are so cool and funny and pretty and just amazing! So now, it's official: including the siblings I grew up with, I have  8 brothers and sisters (five sisters and three brothers). It feels good to come from a big family:)
